Transpenine Housing is inviting bids for a £12.5 million framework covering heating system renewals across its 16,500 properties in the North West and Yorkshire.
Work to be carried out at both low and high-rise properties includes replacement of worn out and obsolete gas fired and electric heating systems with alternative energy sources and group heating systems where appropriate.
The six-operator framework is part of £67.5m glut of contracts - advertised by the registered social landlord - covering a range of maintenance and improvement work across its properties.
It is inviting bids for a £40m 16-operator general building framework, covering kitchen, bathroom, and roof replacements as well as painting and re-decoration.
Also up for grabs are places on six places on a £15m external works framework, including fencing and paving renewals.
All frameworks will run for four years and cover properties in the North West, West Yorkshire, and South Yorkshire but could extend to works across the North.
Interested firms have until 22 March to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
