TEV has unveiled its Quartz packaged fan coil system, which it hopes will provide contractors with a more comprehensive climate control system.
The manufacturer says its packaged fan coil product is unique in the market and can “take the stress out of installations”.
“The construction process is stressful, especially around commissioning, but this product should take pressure off. Often the problem is the blame culture in construction, and when faults occur it can be difficult to pin down responsibility,” said Maurice Diamond, Quartz product manager at TEV.
“What we’re saying with this product is let us take responsibility.”
The packaged fan coil system offered by TEV is built around the Quartz fan coil product, but also features associated products such as self-balancing modulating valves, grilles and diffusers.
The manufacturer also provides ductwork design, a post-installation, pre-commissioning handover check, and a two year warranty with a performance guarantee.
TEV offers four packages – platinum, gold, silver and bronze – which differ in price and breadth of service.
“The contractor wants a one-stop shop, less delay and more work done offsite, and the Quartz system delivers on these criteria,” concluded Mr Diamond.
John Lightfoot, director at TEV added: “We’ve spoken to contractors and they say this will save them money as it will cut down on commissioning time. We are trying to add value to the contractor and trying to increase our market share.”
The company says it has a network of sub-contractors that it can send out to sites to check work and fix faults.
It also says the solid relationships it has developed with grille manufacturers is critical to its ability to offer the service.
