Air movement company Supply Air will begin trading from 1 May after an absence of almost 20 years.
Former director Steve Batchelor has taken over the brand, which had been acquired by Air Movement Group and converted into an in-house distribution branch.
Mr Batchelor recently left his role as UK md of Swedish-owned Systemair and has more than 40 years of experience in the h&v trade.
He said: “My business will be run on an ethos of honesty and hard work. My ambition is to make Supply Air a name that clients can trust.”
The Supply Air business model will involve acting as “a procurement service” without brand bias.
“The intention will be to alleviate the time that engineers spend trying to obtain various different products from a multitude of suppliers. Instead we’ll ask them to give us a specification, budget and timetable and we’ll get on with it,” he added.
