Skerritt moves to new offices

M&E contractor Skerritt has moved to new offices in Nottingham. The firm has unified two buildings – one on Huntingdon Street and one St Marks Street to create a 14,500 sq ft office.

Around 80 per cent of the company’s city-based workforce have now moved to the new headquarters from the old Skerritt offices on Union Road.

Development director Les Francis (pictured) said: “Our old dillapidated premises were a maze of separate little offices and the new offices, with the latest in IT technology, will improve communications significantly. Staff are delighted with their new environment.”

The new offices have “greener” technology, such as low-energy lighting, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, solar powered hot water systems, rooftop photovoltaics (electricity-generating photo cells) and rooflight systems redirecting daylight into enclosed offices.
