WF Senate’s Supplier of the Year Awards, held on 5 March, went off to great acclaim.
Five winners were chosen from three categories and Eaton winning the overall award, with Schneider Electric and JCC following closely behind.
The Awards, which were launched in 2007, are designed to thank suppliers for their continuous efforts throughout the previous year. Chosen by company directors, branch managers and WF Senate head office staff, suppliers were scored in a range of areas including product quality, sales support and delivery performance.
Held at the four-star Country House Hotel in Coventry’s Coombe Abbey, the Awards were presented by guest speaker Mark Gallagher, who has been at the forefront of Formula One motor racing for more than 30 years.
Collingwood Lighting beat its rivals with its prestigious Wirefield EYE-WI to win Best Innovative Product. The lighting control offers an affordable and easy-to-use alternative to complicated electrical installations. With no limit to the quantity of luminaries that can be controlled in the system, each wireless luminarie is programmed to operate using simple drag-and-drop menus on the control.
Collingwood Lighting was also presented with an overall Special Recognition award, which rounded off the evening.
WF Senate commercial director Nathan Ennis was very pleased with the event and would like to offer congratulations to all finalists.
