Schwank offers new heaters and extended warranties

Schwank, a world market leader in the manufacture and supply of gas-fired infrared radiant heaters, is currently offering attractive discounts on new supraSchwank and primoSchwank plaque (luminous) heaters for current UK users of Schwank 2000 and 2100 heaters, which were last manufactured in 1992.

The longevity of the 2000/ 2100 series is a testimony to its remarkable manufacturing quality and reliability, but Schwank’s radiant heating technology has made great strides since then in performance, energy efficiency, reduced operating costs and reduced carbon emissions. The Schwank discount offer will last until the end of 2015.

The particular reason that users of the 2000/2100 series need to change is because the heaters’ FZ10 control box is no longer being manufactured and will become obsolete because of changes in EU regulations.

Normally, heating system manufacturers are only required to supply spare parts for 10 years, which in the case of the 2000/2100 series would have been up until 2002. However, because of the lengthy and reliable working life of its heaters, Schwank has tended to retain component parts for longer periods as part of its customer service.

In a further move to encourage customers to upgrade to its newest heating systems, Schwank is also offering extended warranties of up to 10 years for those who acquire new heaters and take out the manufacturer’s maintenance contract covering the required warranty period.

This initiative is backed by a training programme for an increased nationwide network of Schwank Install Partners, so customers will never be far from manufacturer approved and qualified engineers to service their Schwank heating systems.

Managing director Steve Sherman says that Schwank has consistently encouraged customers to seek the benefits of the newest heating technology: “There have been marked improvements in the energy and cost efficiency of our newest heaters compared with older models like the 2000/2100 series. Customers taking advantage of our latest incentives to upgrade to new Schwank heating systems will be pleasantly surprised by the returns on investment and environmental benefits that can be achieved.”
