Electronic Temperature Instruments (ETI) has introduced a budget differential thermometer kit to meet the needs of plumbers and HVAC engineers.
The ETI Differential Thermometer measures temperature over the range of -99.9°C to 299.9°C with a 0.1°C resolution, or 300°C to 1,372°C with a 1°C resolution. The thermometer features a custom LCD display with °C/°F, T1, T2, diff, hold, open circuit, low battery indication and an optional backlight. It incorporates an automatic power off facility that turns the instrument off after approximately 10 minutes, maximising battery life. It is housed in a durable ABS case that has an integrated rubber seal to ensure complete water resistance and help reduce the possibility of damage in the field.
The thermometer allows the user to use two type-K thermocouple probes simultaneously. The display can be switched to show probe T1 or T2 temperature or the difference between probes T1 and T2 (T1 minus T2). The two thermocouple inputs make this thermometer ideal for HVAC applications, including flow and return temperature measurements and radiator output checks. In addition, it can be used to establish hot water and air conditioning temperature using an optional liquid or air probe.
Each Differential Thermometer is supplied as a kit, with two pipe-clamp probes in a protective zip wallet. Each kit is competitively priced at £87.50 exclusive of VAT and available direct from etiltd.com, ordering code 860-095.
