Building services firm SES has revamped its management structure. As a result of the re-structure, Mark Perkins (formerly md for SES, Southern Division) has been appointed CEO for SES. Mr Perkins will report directly to Shepherd Group chairman, Alan Fletcher.
The senior executive committee of the board, comprising Lisa Stevenson, HR director; David Mason, business director; Chris Symeonides, commercial director; Peter Lewis, chief operating officer and Noel Clancy, md for the SES FM division, will work alongside Mr Perkins.
SES will now operate under three divisions, with a divisional director (DD) and a divisional commercial director (DCD) for each:
• Rob Doherty, DD and Pat Lewis DCD for West & Central
• Jim Marner, DD and Paul Robertson DCD for North
• Derek Joiner, DD and Steve Eames DCD for London & South East
The divisional operations functions, together with design and technical functions as well as the modular production division, PRISM, will be led by COO Peter Lewis.
In addition to the three divisions, SES has set up two new specialist teams (Channels and Sectors) to focus on key channel customers and growth sectors.
The SES FM business, Shepherd FM continues to be led by md (FM), Noel Clancy, who reports directly to Mark Perkins.
Mr Perkins explained the changes took place as a result of feedback from key customers.
“We have reviewed our operations to ensure that they can meet the demands of the market in the coming years, address the changing needs of our clients and achieve optimum service levels,” he said.
