SES has completed the M&E contracts on three healthcare facilities in Leicester, Derby and Lincolnshire valued at over £14 million.
All three projects form part of the batched private finance initiative (PFI) scheme collectively worth £80 million.
In partnership with principal contractor, Costain, SES was responsible for the installation of the full M&E services, including BMS, fire alarms, heating, ventilation, domestic water supplies and electricity at all three sites.
Peter Lewis, chief operating officer for SES said: “All the facilities are run by separate NHS Trusts, each with their own specific requirements and criteria, which has required an integrated approach with the construction team to develop an M&E solution unique to each project.”
SES is currently working on a wide variety of health sector projects nationwide, including Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough and Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield.
