Reducing radiator bacteria

Another company determined to keep our environment germ-free is Stelrad.

They have come up with a range of low surface temperature radiators suitable for schools, carehomes or hospitals, which are also anti-bacterial. The radiators are subjected to an intense multi-stage cleaning process using iron phosphate to ensure demineralisation, before several layers of anti-bacterial paint are applied. Stelrad reckons that with the rise of swine flu and MRSA, contractors for sensitive environments are becoming more picky about the selection of items on whose surfaces bacteria can harbour.
