Powerminster Gleeson starts FM deal

Powerminster Gleeson Services has started a 30 year facilities management contract overseeing Extra Care facilities in Cheshire on behalf of the Avantage consortium.

The Oakmere development in Handforth was built through PFI and will be followed by four more facilities in Crewe, Winsford, Ellesmere Port and Middlewich delivering 435 new homes designed for people over 60 who may require additional support.

Work covered by Powerminster Gleeson Services.will include management of void properties, planned and responsive maintenance of boilers and heating systems and life cycle replacements.

David Bradbury, PFI Director at Powerminster Gleeson Services said “This is great news for our company as it provides a stable contract for 30 years for our workforce, whilst strengthening our position as an FM provider.”
