Polypipe Ventilation has invested in new tooling equipment for the manufacture of its Domus ventilation products for the domestic and light commercial markets.
Polypipe claims the new equipment allows it to produce rigid ducting systems with a cleaner and more consistent finish to more exacting tolerances.
The change will lead to less air leakage, improved system performance and eliminate condensation leakage said the company.
Managing director Neil Tilsley added: “Our substantial investment into Domus comes at a time when many in the industry are tightening their belts. However, we are in an ideal situation to weather any potential storm ahead and we believe this investment will pay dividends both now and in the future.
“It will enable us to strengthen our position in the market place and allow us to continue to provide improved solutions for our customer base at a time when the industry can really benefit from products which provide real cost and time savings.”
