Partnership on gas extensions launched

Heating manufacturer Baxi, energy efficiency specialist Warm Zone, property maintenance experts BGC and Veolia Water Outsourcing have joined forces to help alleviate fuel poverty through major gas network extensions into off-gas areas.

The four companies are working together to deliver utility networks and energy solutions to help cut energy use, reduce carbon emissions and deliver affordable warmth to vulnerable and low income households.

Between them the four organisations can develop proposals for the design, installation, ownership, maintenance and operation of a gas network extension project.  They can also suggest the most appropriate home heating product for each dwelling.

General Manager for Veolia Water Outsourcing Paul Reynolds said: “I’m delighted that our companies are combining expertise and working together to providing gas extension projects for areas of hardship.

'Veolia Water Outsourcing has the vital experience and knowledge of providing multi-utility infrastructure to large scale housing development projects. With the other members in this consortia, we can offer a complete, trusted solution for local authorities and social landlords.”
