Wolseley adds Raptor range of hand tools to its accessories line

Wholesaler launches exclusive hand tools throughout branch network

Wolseley, the UK’s leading plumbing, heating and cooling specialist, has announced the launch of hand tools from its exclusive Raptor range. The tools are available in over 400 of Wolseley’s branches nationwide.

The wholsaler says the Raptor hand tools range has been manufactured with the customer in mind, ranging from the screwdrivers that feature a Tri-lobular grip, which helps improve grip and torque transfer, along with high-spec S2 blades; making them safer, stronger and more hard wearing than the more common CR-V screwdrivers, the firm says.

In addition, all Raptors knives and pipe cutters utilise titanium-coated blades, while its Quick Clamps incorporate pipe grooves to improve clamping security; reducing the chance of a pipe slipping out of the clamp when under pressure. The Raptor Torpedo and Box Levels feature Verti-Site® vials, which allows the user to check if an object is plumb from the front of the level, making it much easier to use in those hard to access areas. Even the inspection mirror has been engineered with the customer in mind; featuring a larger surface with an incorporated light making it much easier to view inaccessible areas, the firm adds

Earlier this year, Raptor launched its range of power tool accessories, which also proved to be a huge success with trades, the firm adds.
