The company’s commitment to high quality training, career progression and employability skills was recently rewarded with Silver from Investors in People (IiP).
The company underwent a rigorous assessment with two IiP assessors interviewing people at all levels, receiving praise for its Willmott Dixon’s Got Talent management development programme, training academies, community support initiatives and its commitment to the development of its staff.
Willmott Dixon Partnerships head of customer service and training, Huw Evans, said: “There is a strong focus on learning and development at every level, and all staff members are encouraged to ‘step up’ and develop leadership skills.
“We are particularly proud of our ‘Opening Doors’ scheme which offers youngsters the opportunity to explore careers within the construction industry, regardless of their background and academic qualifications.”
Simon Baylis, the specialist who led the assessment said: “Willmott Dixon Partnerships is one of the most inspirational businesses that I have ever worked with.
“The company has a set of core values that underpin the culture and the impact of these is huge.
“During the assessment I found many inspiring examples that demonstrate the company’s core strengths and its commitment to people’s development and progression.”
