Vaillant Group officially opened its new training facility in Cambridge yesterday.
The modern building covers 850 sq m. The site was chosen to attract customers from the Midlands to London and extends the company’s number of network training centres to seven.
The new centre has both Vaillant and Glow-worm training areas and classrooms, with over 50 appliances including domestic, commercial boilers, solar, heat pumps, cylinders and controls.
The building houses demonstration zones, practical workshops and technical classrooms.
The Centre was officially opened by Vaillant Group UK and Northern Europe region director Jim Moore.
Mr Moore said: “We are passionate about training and the real benefits it delivers in facilitating the correct specification and installation of both conventional heating and renewable technologies.
“We have continuously invested in industry-leading training facilities, offering the most comprehensive range of training courses for our Vaillant and Glow-worm brands.
“Vaillant Group recognises the role manufacturers have to play in supporting the delivery of a low carbon future in the UK. This is why ongoing investment in training continues to be such an important pillar in all of our operational activities.”
