Manufacturer hopes to streamline delivery of specific technologies such as heat pumps through the Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS) network
Vaillant is partnering with the Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS) service as it moves to expand availability of its building service solutions such as heat pumps that offer improved energy efficiency performance.
The company expects to be able to streamline the supply and delivery of its technologies for architects, installers and builders that use SBS, which is part of Travis Perkins plumbing and heating division.
SBS is intended to provide advice, specifications and build services to support energy efficient buildings and related services. This includes the supply of technologies from a number of different suppliers.
Vaillant national sales manager Chris Johnson said that the partnership reflected growing awareness of the need to consider the environmental impacts of solutions being implemented into buildings.
He added that the company was committed therefore to push products and systems that are able to meet interest in renewable technologies.
Mr Johnson said, “This new partnership with SBS is a key move in improving our order to delivery timescales. Through the TP Group’s extensive distribution channels, our installers will now benefit from next day delivery across much of the UK, ensuring that they can quickly meet the demands of their customers with quality products.”
SBS category manager said the partnership was expected to help curb possible project delays by speeding up the supply of heating equipment.
She said, “SBS is well known for providing specialist advice for sustainable technologies, including heat pumps. This partnership with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of heating technologies is a result of our business growth and dedication to the heat pump sector.”
