BG Controls has been awarded the five-year maintenance contract for University of Lincoln’s integrated heating and access control system.
The company is installing the system in buildings throughout the Brayford Pool campus, as well as on some of the university’s satellite sites around Lincolnshire.
Using BACnet open protocol technology, BG is centralising control, allowing the facilities manager to diagnose and rectify potential faults remotely.
The system also uses air source heat pumps to heat and cool interiors of Sparkhouse Studios and the university’s Human Performance Centre.
