Renewable energy specialist Stiebel Eltron UK is expanding into Ireland through a partnership agreement with engineering distribution company Modern Plant.
The partnership will see Modern Plant stocking and distributing a wide range of Stiebel Eltron products, from ground and air source heat pumps and solar technology to instantaneous hot water heating and ventilation systems.
Modern Plant, which was founded in 1962, is one of Ireland’s suppliers of high quality control and automation and shower and bathroom products.
With headquarters on the outskirts of Dublin and a nationwide team of sales agents, Modern Plant provides solutions in sectors such as sport and leisure, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and commercial and residential construction.

Stiebel Eltron UK managing director Mark McManus said: “Modern Plant has years of industry expertise and has built a reputation for top products and outstanding services. This ties in perfectly with our ethos and there is a real synergy between our companies, in terms of how we value both quality and customer service.
“For Stiebel Eltron UK this is an excellent opportunity to develop our brand across Ireland, building new relationships and working closely with Modern Plant Ltd to offer market leading heating solutions to a variety of commercial and domestic customers.
“Modern Plant will be stocking and distributing a full catalogue of Stiebel Eltron products, from both our renewable energy and home comforts ranges. We see this is a viable long-term partnership which can really bring added value to both our businesses.”
