The ‘Big Six’ energy companies support Big Energy Saving Week

Energy Saving Week has combined forces with Citizens Advice Bureau’s Big Energy Week to form Big Energy Saving Week, which is taking place next week from 22 to 27 October 2012.

The week is funded by the ‘Big Six’ energy companies and involves additional support from consumer groups, the Government and Ofgem.

The Big Energy Saving Week aims to raise awareness of what people can do to help themselves, their families and friends pay their fuel bills.

The events, taking place throughout the country, will provide information on how to check you’re getting the best deal for your energy and any help you’re entitled to, switch to another tariff or supplier if you can get a better price elsewhere, and advice on how to insulate your home and use less energy.
