Tendering workshop features ADCAS presentation

The Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) is organising a workshop on the tendering process across the construction industry.

It will be held at Bonhill House in central London on February 17th and carry full CPD certification.

Amongst others, the workshop will also feature a presentation from Phil Johnson of ADCAS analysing the problems caused by excess information.

It is anticipated that the ideas and concepts it raises can be taken further by putting them into practice on a number of live projects.

The workshop will seek to initiate a fresh approach using new techniques such as Value Network Analysis, a business modeling method that focuses on relationships and collaboration, making it easier for specialists to contribute their knowledge and experience to the development of the project as a whole.

A recent survey revealed that 72% of construction industry believes that the tendering process was more difficult now than five years ago, with a third complaining that identifying relevant information was a problem.
