Summary of 2010 performance by CIPHE

As 2010 reaches its conclusion Blane Judd of The CIPHE reflects on the year’s achievements.

“Each year The CIPHE focuses on its core aims of promoting registered plumbers and heating engineers and highlighting in which its members can safeguard public health and protect the environment. This year our work has continued in a variety of ways,” said Mr Judd.

“We’ve provided blog posts to inform members of the public about our work and pass on important information about different aspects of plumbing and heating.

“We’ve also been communicating through social media with our Twitter account, Facebook and Youtube pages. We’ve even been on TV and Radio with appearances on GMTV and several regional BBC stations under our belts.

“On top of all that I’ve also attended events at home and abroad, such as the IPA conference in Mumbai and the launch of CO Awareness week in London.”

He recognises that there is still a lot of work to be done, because problems such as carbon monoxide poisoning and blocked drains will not disappear.

“I am proud of our achievements and I thank all CIPHE members for their hard work and continued support this year. Merry Christmas to all of you and a productive 2011!” Mr Judd concluded.
