Kinetics, the asset and facilities management specialist, has announced it has successfully secured a place within the Procure Plus Framework, formerly known as GM Procure.
The Procure Plus Installer Framework is a regeneration company covering a wide range of work streams valued at over £350 million run by a consortium of housing providers.
Kinetics, which is the UK’s fourth largest employer of gas service engineers, has now joined on 13 different work streams including heating and environmental works, kitchens, windows and doors.
Martin Stone, pre-construction director of Kinetics says: “We are delighted to have become a member of such an important organisation.
“Kinetics specialises in every aspect of asset and facilities management and property maintenance and we are confident that we will provide a valuable contribution.”
The framework duration is four years and the work will be allocated by a mixture of direct call off and mini tender competitions, the company states.
Works are due to commence towards the end of 2010 and into 2011.
Procure Plus is limited by guarantee and therefore is a not for profit organisation, with stock concentrated around the North West of England.
Members of the consortium include Calico Housing, Lancashire Housing Partnership, Parkway Green Housing Trust, Stockport Homes and Trafford Housing Trust.
Kinetics states that it works with 250,000 buildings across the UK from social housing and care homes to municipal buildings, with services including gas, electrical and air conditioning, construction and refurbishment, environmental solutions, health and safety management, mechanical services, plumbing and security systems installation and maintenance.
