Conergy has announced an expansion of its UK rooftops offer, which has led to the creation of two new divisions.
The first will focus on solar farms and will be led by long-time Conergy executive Birgit Eggl. The second, the expanded rooftops division, will be led by company newcomer Paul Weaver.
Mr Weaver joins Conergy from Balfour Beatty where he was head of energy, responsible for both public- and private-sector renewable energy developments.
Joining him in the rooftops division is Christelle Lawson, who will serve as business development manager. Ms Lawson was previously sales manager at Kingspan Energy.
Nena Kogiou has also been appointed as senior engineer for the rooftops team. Kogiou joined in February last year from Renewable Resources.
To date, Conergy has installed more than 700MW of solar rooftops worldwide, including for the City of Sacramento in California and Mars in Australia.
It has also been working with utility giant RWE to offer solar system rentals to businesses.
