Royal baby boiler to benefit children's charity

Worcester, Bosch Group has honoured the royal birth by creating a one-off baby blue boiler, which will be raffled to raise money for children’s charity, Acorns.

The company’s production line has produced a unique baby blue version of its ‘baby’ boiler, the Greenstar CDi Compact to celebrate the new addition to the royal family.

Worcester, Bosch Group consumer brand manager Sue Pennington, said: “As a British heating manufacturer with a Royal Warrant, we couldn’t let such a momentous occasion pass us by.

“This year, we too welcomed a mini addition to the Worcester Greenstar family and so we thought it would be a great way for us to pay tribute to the future monarch by creating a blue version of our own baby boiler.

“Today will be a memorable day in British history and at Worcester we are proud to do something special to celebrate.”

The boiler will be raffled to raise money for a local Worcester charity which provides crucial care and support for life-limited children, Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Those wishing to enter the competition to win the boiler can visit and donate £5.00 to Acorns before Tuesday 6 August at 6pm, after which a winner will be chosen at random from those who donated.
