Remodelled energy-efficient home central theme for conference

A Stoke-on-Trent terraced house, the subject of extensive work to greatly increase energy efficiency, will be discussed at a conference hosted by the Centre of Refurbishment Excellence (CoRE).

The work was carried out as part of research into the provision of energy-efficient housing.

The results will be announced in a report, Fabric First and Refurbishment Excellence: Up-skilling to Deliver The Green Deal and Beyond, which will be launched at the conference in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, on 17 May.

Dr Andrew Ainsworth of Room4 Consulting conducted the research on behalf of CoRE. He will also be a panel member at the event.
