Purex International acquires fume extraction business

Purex International has announced that it has bought out Domino Printing Sciences of Cambridge.

Managing director Trefor Jones said: “Purex has enjoyed being a part of the Domino Group over a number of years and in that time has developed an enviable reputation, not only for providing fume extraction solutions to the coding and marking industry but also as a key partner across a range of industrial applications.

“We are excited by the opportunity to focus the business on developing new markets and applications, and our plans include further investment in new products.”

Domino chief executive Nigel Bond said: “Following a strategic review of options, the Domino board decided that Purex would be better placed to drive expansion in its chosen markets as a business that was independent of the Group.”
