HSS Hire has announced above-expectations revenue of £46.9 million for the first quarter.
The firm said that like-for-like revenue was up 12 per cent on that of 12 months earlier - making it five months in a row for double-digit growth.
It also registered strong performance among its large national accounts, which now generate 30 per cent of turnover.
EBITDA profits also rose 21 per cent to £11.2m, the firm announced.
Chief executive at HSS Hire, Chris Davies, championed the results, revealing that the firm had invested in its fleet over the past three months.
He added: “This is an exciting time for HSS Hire and a real chance to propel our business even further.
“This quarter we have been able to make significant investments in both our fleet and our colleague base which, together with sustained profitability and demonstrable growth, means that we are well placed for continued success over the months and years ahead.”
