Paper mill extends Cofely CHP energy management contract

Arjowiggins Paper Group has extended its contract with Cofely for the supply of energy and management of its combined heat and power energy centre for another five years at its Chartham Mill facility in Kent.

Chartham Mill is the only tracing paper manufacturing plant in the UK, and has been in operation since 1738.

Cofely designed, built and financed the CHP energy centre in 1993 and has operated it since. Its specially developed operational model ensures that the centre runs at maximum efficiency through analysis of energy prices and on-site demands, adjusting the system accordingly.
