New divisions emerge after company reorganisation

A new company structure has been announced by Capita Symonds following the reorganisation of its operating divisions.

These have been reduced in number from four to three and now consist of the following:

Design & Infrastructure, a new division merging architecture M&E and structures together with regeneration, development, industrial, energy, technology, civil engineering and transport specialists. It will be headed by executive director John Southgate.

The Real Estate division will amalgamage the company’s previous Management division with recent acquisition NB Real Estate. It will be run by executive director Mark Norris.

The Regions division will be run by executive director Dave Spencer and will include the company’s local authority partnerships and health estate expertise, targeting new public sector outsourcing and deficit-reduction opportunities.

Jonathan Goring, Capita Symonds managing director, said: “These changes signal our intention to run bigger programmes, become leaders in all of our niche - and many of our core – disciplines.

“Our clearer operational structure will position us for the next exciting cycle of investment in our business and ensure that we have the strong leadership, identity and direction to make the most of the unique challenges and opportunities that the market presents.”

Capita Symonds has over 4500 UK and international staff based in more than 60 offices.
