New businesses forms as district heating grows

With increasingly more projects including the need for energy centres to be constructed, feeding district heating systems in a variety of settings, a new company has been launched to serve the expanding market.

AMCO Pipe UK has been formed by Tony Jackson, who plans to use his 25 years’ experience to grow the company in the future.

Mr Jackson told H&V News he has considerable construction, product and manufacturing experience.

“I would like to think I am one of the most prominent district heating experts in our industry,” he said.

“This includes knowledge on suitability and best installation practices.”

The company will be based in Stoke-on-Trent, which is due to benefit from a large-scale geothermal heat district heating project in the future, and will sell pipes for district heating applications and all relevant services.
