National Grid and British Gas to speak at domestic heating conference

Speakers from National Grid and British Gas will present at the upcoming Future of Domestic Heating Conference and Parliamentary Reception.

Organised by the Heating & Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC), the event is aimed at all those involved in the domestic heating sector.

The conference will review the policies needed to both incentivise and legislate for change and identify technologies that could help make the difference while continuing to meet demand in an affordable way.

Sponsored by Baxi Heating UK, Energy Innovation Centre, Fernox and the National Grid, it takes place on 25 November at One Birdcage Walk in London.

It will be followed by a Parliamentary Reception, sponsored by Baxi Heating UK and Worcester Bosch and hosted by The Rt Hon the Lord Whitty, at the House of Lords.

Delegates can also expect to hear a post-election policy and programme update on the latest on the UK’s energy future, from sources of supply to smart grids and how the industry can deliver innovation in an ever-changing world.
