NAPIT stresses importance of Amendment 3

NAPIT delivered a seminar on Amendment 3 to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations to engineers from Kier Services and Sheffield City Council on 12 March.

As part of NAPIT’s ongoing efforts to educate electrical installers on the changes to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, the seminar provided both organisations with all the required knowledge on Amendment 3.

“We feel it is vital that local authorities and installers are up to date with the latest changes to the Wiring Regulations,” said NAPIT regional inspections manager Michael Collinge. “We are currently travelling the country to make sure as many installers have the required knowledge as possible. The seminar was well attended by representatives from both organisations and the engagement from attendees was fantastic.”

Sheffield Council senior housing officer Andy Hill said: “The content of the seminar was exactly what was needed to make sure all relevant contractors know all about Amendment 3. Maintaining our knowledge is key and we are grateful to NAPIT for the opportunity to update us in this suitable seminar format.”

Installers can attend NAPIT and Megger’s free Amendment 3 Seminar Roadshows to get up to date with the latest changes.
