Minister will address NSCC members

Mark Prisk MP, Minister for Business and Enterprise, will address members of NSCC at its AGM on November 24.

The meeting will take place at the Institute of Directors in London.

NSCC members will have the opportunity to question Mr Prisk and hear information on forthcoming government initiatives.

The minister has stated he is committed to innovation and efficiency, complementing NSCC focus on improving the business environment for specialist contractors, covering topics such as fair payment, pre-qualification, apprenticeships and sustainability.

Incoming NSCC president David Jones said: “By agreeing to meet with NSCC members, Mark is recognising the importance to the industry of the supply chain which undertakes 90% of construction work.

“NSCC is committed to working with Mark and his team to deliver improvements in the business environment so that SMEs can grow and play their part in the UK’s economic recovery.”
