Following the HVAC sector’s positive response to the launch of the Installer Live Awards earlier this year, the deadline for applications has been extended to 8 June.
The initiative has already seen a high level of response from installers and contractors throughout the UK and a judging panel has been confirmed.
Those signing up for adjudication duties include former winners of the Corgi Awards (the previous identity for the Installer Live Awards), including Bernie Witt of Newham Homes and Nick Jones of Dodd Group, working alongside representatives from industry organisations, including John Thompson, APHC CEO and Wayne Terry, NICEIC head of energy and environment.
The awards will be presented at a gala evening that will be held at the Hilton Metropole on 18 October.
The initiative is part of the Installer Live exhibition, purchased by Emap last year, which has driven a change in location to Birmingham’s NEC and a change in dates to 16-19 October.
The awards evening is expected to attract around 700 people and will be sponsored by major industry suppliers.
Those already signed up to support the event include ADEY Professional Heating Solutions, Anton, CORGI, QMSA and Viessmann.
