HVCA backs university energy efficiency research centre

Jim O’Neil, chairman of M&E Sustainability - a joint venture between the Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association and the Electrical Contractors’ Association - joined Mayor of London Boris Johnson for the official opening of a major new research facility at London South Bank University.

The creation of the Centre for Efficient and Renewable Energy in Buildings (CEREB) is part of a major redevelopment of the South Bank campus, and has been undertaken in partnership with City and Kingston Universities.
