H&V News October digital issue out now

After calls significant change around standards enforcement and fire safety planning in construction, this month we take a detailed look at potential next steps for the HVAC industry

October’s H&V News considers the most effective next steps for the HVAC industry in responding to the Grenfell Tower fire and the subsequent review of building regulations undertaken by Dame Judith Hackitt.

The topic was the key theme of a roundtable event covered extensively in this month’s magazine that was recently held in conjunction with BESA to look at how best to deliver major industry change. The roundtable brought together experts to discuss an ongoing disparity between how buildings and their key systems are designed, compared to how they are eventually constructed and maintained.

Within the theme of realising major industry change, the issue also looks at some of the key commitments and initiatives launched during September’s Gas Safety Week campaign to ensure better awareness of issues such as carbon monoxide poisoning and appliance testing.
