H&V News March digital issue out now

March’s H&V News looks at how the industry is readying itself for the new Boiler Plus standards and whether building services can afford to ignore the issue of payment reform after Carillion’s collapse

This month’s H&V News looks considers the ongoing arguments for payment reform in the construction supply chain via the introduction of new legislation that would require the use of third party deposit schemes to hold retentions. A number of trade bodies and association that have helped formulate a recently introduced bill have ramped up pressure for new approaches to managing payment in light of the collapse of construction giant Carillion in January.

The issue also considers some of the key technical changes set to be introduced in April under the Boiler Plus standards and wider industry concerns over ensuring compliance with these requirements.
