February’s H&V News finds the HVAC industry looking for certainty in how to prepare for Brexit with parliament yet to decide on how the UK will leave the EU next month
This month’s magazine finds broad concerns within the HVAC industry on an ongoing failure to have finalised arrangements for the UK’s future relationship with the EU if Brexit goes ahead as scheduled at the end of next month.
Figures from across the industry warn that companies have been unable to sufficiently plan for life outside of the EU due to limited detail from government. A failure to reach agreement with the EU on the UK’s broad post-Brexit relationship follows months of warnings from influential industry and trade bodies that have urged the government to avoid a ‘no deal’ exit that could compromise vital trade, supply chains and skilled workers.
The issue also takes a look at reponses to the new UK Clean Air strategy, as well as government’s latest response to the Hackitt Report.
