H&V News February digital issue out now

After a month that saw the collapse of Carillion and industry acceptance of a critical need for regulatory reform, H&V News considers if construction is in crisis and what must be done

February’s H&V News looks at the initial fallout from the collapse of construction giant Carillion and what reaction there will be across the HVAC industry to try and protect contractors and trainees.

The issue also considers the need for reform of cash retentions after a bill that would mandating use of third-party deposit schemes was introduced to parliament by MP Peter Aldous.

We also have features looking at the industry response to the Scottish Government’s first energy strategy, as well as the ambitions of the new ’Energy Academy’ - based at Swale Heating’s headquarters - that seeks to build an independent training organisation better able to meet shifting industry safety and energy priorities.
