Heating company growth recognised

Swale Heating has been recognised as one of the fastest-growing business in Kent in a local media group iniative.

The company is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and is listed in the annual MegaGrowth roll-call organised by the KM media group.

The MegaGrowth 50 table details Kent and Medway’s fastest-growing privately-owned businesses over the past four years.

They are ranked by growth in turnover. Swale Heating’s turnover increased by nearly 28 per cent, from £27.3m in 2007/08 to £34.8m in 2010/11.

Swale Heating sales director Matthew Edwards said: “With more than 100,000 domestic customers and a large number of leading housing association and local authority clients, we continue to put customer service at the heart of everything we do.”

Mr Edwards also highlighted the company’s community involvement, supporting local good causes and charities, including Demelza Hospice care.
