GSH bags £15m maintenance deal

GSH Group has been awarded a three-year maintenance contract with Maryland Aviation Administration, covering Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) Airport and Martin State Airport.

The contract also includes two two-year options and will require GSH to deliver an operations and maintenance solution covering all HVAC systems, including central utility plant, building management and fire alarms, and water treatment services.

The company will provide mechanical and electrical services including all planned preventative, routine and emergency maintenance requirements at both airports.

A dedicated team of 47 management, administrative and engineering professionals will handle all aspects of the contract and provide onsite support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

GSH USA president Mark Thomas said: “Our technical engineering and energy management expertise combined with an advanced technology platform is making us partner of choice for an increasing range of corporate and public sector organisations.

“We look forward to establishing a strong relationship with Maryland Aviation Administration to drive operational improvements and performance at both airports.”
