Government provides further details of Domestic RHI

Government has announced further details of the arrangements for the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) – underlining the need for installers who wish to take advantage of this business opportunity to register with a microgeneration certification scheme.

It also confirms that the RHI will not initially be available to those who do not own or occupy the building to which the heat is provided.

Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change. MCS certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources.
