Giacomini expands technical sales teams by three

After chalking up 20% growth over the past 12 months and doubling its head count, Giacomini has taken on a further two new recruits and made a significant promotion.

Giacomini, based in Yate, South Gloucestershire, recruited two new technical sales engineers covering the south east, northern England and Scotland and has trained an existing member of the team to cover the company’s south west region.

New recruit Philip Tidball previously worked as a senior estimator for a large Leeds based M+E contractor and will cover the north of England and Scotland. Mr Tidball has a long track record working for companies in the industry and in addition to his NVQ in plumbing and heating and a degree in business studies, Giacomini is funding Mr Tidball to study for a HND in building services at Leeds College of Building.

Simon Brooks brings knowledge and experience to his role after working for companies within the industry for more than 20 years. He is keen to share this knowledge and to aid Giacomini’s growth plan. Mr Brooks will cover the south eastern area of the country.

With five and half year’s under his belt at Giacomini, James Lemanski, who lives in the Yate area has worked as a designer/estimator and a project manager. The company’s managing director Matt Lowe promoted Mr Lemanski to technical sales engineer and is now covering the south west region for the company.

Mr Lemanski’s new role sees him proactively helping existing and potential customers by giving them design figures and technical assistance and advice on projects at an early stage.
