Free workshop for low-carbon and renewable energy schemes

A free one-day training workshop in Milton Keynes is being offered by The Centre for Sustainable Energy.

Available 8 May, the workshop has been funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and will introduce participants to the ‘PlanLoCaL’ (Planning for Low Carbon Living) suite of interactive tools and information.

The scheme also includes advice in navigating the statutory planning system.

Designed to support community low-carbon and renewable energy initiatives, the package also offers help.

The event is designed for members of community groups, or those working on local planning or sustainable living initiatives.

The workshop is said to be particularly relevant to people working with local authorities, or in areas such as conservation.
