Foresight acquires largest UK solar farm

Foresight Solar Fund has announced it has signed a binding contract to acquire the 46MWp Landmead asset.

Located in East Hanney, Oxfordshire, the solar farm is currently under construction.

It is expected to be grid-connected later this month and will be eligible for the 1.4 ROC rate.

The acquisition means Foresight now owns and manages four of the country’s largest solar farms.

In total, it currently manages an operational portfolio of 185MWp of UK solar assets and this addition of the Landmead site will increase capacity to 231MWp.
