Finalists announced for National Apprenticeship Awards

The National Apprenticeship Awards, now in their eleventh year, celebrate the success of the country’s most exceptional apprentices and Apprenticeship employers.

Impact Ducting Sales was named as one of East Midland’s best Apprenticeship Employers in the regional final of the National Apprenticeship Awards 2014.

The company currently has 8 apprentices working in Fabrication and Welding and Business and Administration.

Impact Ducting managing director Darren Robinson said: “One of the main reasons for Impact taking on apprentices is because we felt that there was a shortage of people in our trade and when the trade is growing year on year it can be so important to keep on top of the growing demand.

“We needed enthusiastic hard working people to be able to train to become skilled sheet metal workers and taking on apprentices is the best way to breed new talent and also to preserve the skills and experience of the existing workforce”.
