Experts to put IAQ and Legionella under the spotlight in September conference

High-profile speakers to set out issues for building managers at Indoor Air Quality & Water Safety 2017

H&V News’s inaugural conference blending the hot topics of air quality and legionella is set to see a focus on practical measures, compliance and best practice from both the water and indoor air sector.

Indoor Air Quality & Water Safety 2017, taking place at Villa Park, Birmingham on September 14-15 aims to help those who have to manage buildings to prepare for potential challenges ahead and to improve safety, comfort and wellbeing for occupants.

Among the events at the conference is the opportunity to influence the industry standard on IAQ being worked on by BESA and a debate on next generation ventilation and the regulatory roadmap ahead, featuring experts from European ventilation body EVIA, BESA, the Property Care Association and standards group Eurovent.

On the water safety side, speakers will discuss: What Next for Legionella 2017 – 2021, looking at the way legionella treatment in cooling towers and the like is set to face major changes in the legal and technical arena. The legionella community will reconvene to discuss best practice and emerging scientific developments.

In response to delegate feedback, new topics this year will also include ’compliance on a budget’ and leveraging data for predictive maintenance

The event will also feature the Combating Legionella Awards 2017.
