European Ventilation Hygiene Association elects President

The European Ventilation Hygiene Association have re-elected Ventilation Surveys and Services chief operations officer George Friend as the President of the association.

Founded in 1999 by a group of European representatives, the European Ventilation Hygiene Association (EVHA), was formed in order that it might bring professionalism to an industry that was in its infancy and in need of greater regulatory transparency.

The continuing objective of the Association is to promote the Ventilation Hygiene industry within Europe and lobby for legislation and being recognised as the sign of competence and quality.

Tim Larson was also re-elected as Vice President, and plans have been made to hold a European Ventilation Hygiene Technician (EVHT) training seminar in November in Berlin. Berlin will also play host to the next European EHVA meeting in July.
