eu.bac General Assembly elects new board

The General Assembly of the European Building Automation and controls association has confirmed its new board.

Jean-Yves Blanc, Schneider Electric, is president of eu.bac and Ernst Malcherek, Honeywell and Andrzej Krämer, Danfoss are vice presidents.

Jean-Yves Blanc said: “eu.bac is becoming increasingly influential at EU level thanks to the creation of a new office in Brussels and an increasing number of activities organised at EU level.

“We also recently established a new sector group in the “homes” area which has strengthened the legitimacy of the association in the field of automation and control technologies and increased the number of eu.bac’s members from13 to 22.

“Today, eu.bac provide to policy-makers, businesses and the civil society a great combination of solutions and expertise, from energy performance contracting to control certification schemes, which can make our buildings smarter and better connected.

“While buildings are drawing more and more attention in Europe, I am convinced eu.bac is to become a voice which matters in the years to come.”
